Charlie pushes the workers too hard, criticizing their work and they all leave. Nicola comes in and starts arguing with Charlie over mortgaging the house. Lola bursts in to tell Charlie that Lauren inadvertently mentioned the mortgage to Nicola, but it's too late. Nicola and Charlie argue, she accidently tosses a boot on the mike and Don who's the only employee left, hears the whole thing. Charlie tells Nicola that he was moving to London for her and now he can't let go of the factory. Nicola reminds him that his dad was planning to sell, but Charlie says he can't do that. Nicola leaves angry, the future of their relationship uncertain.
