Loa shows up to work dressed as a man. Don hassles her a bit. She goes in the bathroom and won't come out. Charlie goes to check on her. Lola explains she can put on a frock and sing in front of 500 strangers, but put her in some jeans and she can barely say hello. From outside the bathroom, the employees try to overhear the conversation. Lola ends up explaining to Charlie how she never fit in and her father made her take up boxing when she was young.. Later her father disowned her, wouldn't even see her when he got lung cancer. Lola: "It was ironic really...fags got him in the end." Charlie explains that he never fit in with the whole family shoe factory business. Lola introduces herself as Simon (her real name) to Charlie and says each of them should just pretend they fit in. Charlie and Lola come out of the bathroom to see that everyone's been spying on them.
