Jackson gives his life savings of $1,500 to the gangsters to turn into $15,000. They proceed to bake it in a special oven that will allegedly multiply the money. The oven catches fire and Slim, pretending to be a US Marshall busts in. Imabelle and the other gangsters run out, leaving Jackson to face the music. He bribes the Marshall $200 to let him go.
