Auggie and his girlfriend Violet (Mel Gorham) cuddle on the sidewalk outside his shop. She reminds him about the dance steps she's been teaching him and how they are suppose to go dancing on Saturday night the 16th. A boy who's snatched a purse runs by. Auggie chases him down and wants to call the cops, however the Young Lady (Mira Sorvino) whose purse it is wants to let the kid go and argues with Auggie. Out of frustration, Auggie gives the kid the Young Lady's purse and lets him go. The Young Lady gets on Auggie's case.
