As the other recruits watch, Molly pounds on Christina until Christina says to stop the fight. Eric helps Christina up and calls for a break. The initiates are walked outside. Eric suddenly pushes Christina off a catwalk. She grabs the rails. He gives her three options: 1) Hang there and he'll forget her cowardice, 2) fall and die or 3) give up and be kicked out. Christina hangs on and just as her fingers begin to slip, Eric calls time and allows her to be rescued. Eric tells them 'Dauntless never give up."
