Carter has a confrontation with Thorpey, who hides in the backseat of a black car with two goons in the front. Thorpey gives him a ticket to get on a plane tonight and leave town. Carter refuses and a fight ensues. Carter holds one of the goons hostage and orders the other to drop his gun. He does. Carter and Thorpey embark on a crazy car chase all throughout the streets of Seattle. Thorpey crashes his car.
