Meg and Charles Wallace suddenly find themselves on their porch back at home. It's a beautiful day. Charles Wallace runs in to the kitchen. Meg follows. The twins are there and so is their mother Dana, who's very happy to see them. Charles Wallace grabs some ice cream from the freezer and Dana gets him some canned pineapple. Dana acts strangely and Meg starts to realize it's not actually real. She backs away from them.
