The van arrives in the woods. Shane, Tori and Dustin hike into the woods. They come to a clearing near a waterfall. Suddenly a flash of black. The three are knocked off their feet. A crowd of ninjas materialize in front of them and assumes fighting stances. The three rip off their street clothes, revealing ninja clothing underneath. They run at the ninjas. The three fight hand to hand combat. Tori runs through the lake to attack a ninja, but falls in. Shane and Dustin attack, flipping, kicking and punching the ninjas. A ninja throws down a smoke bomb and Dustin backs away. Suddenly a Ninja explodes from the ground. Dustin gets surrounded by leaping ninjas. Dustin strikes a martial art pose and tries to use a smoke bomb to cloak his disappearance, but he gets stuck in the ground. Shane flips into view. A ninja runs at him in mid air. Shane begins running in mid air too and the two crash into each other. Shane falls and lands hard. An eagle swoops down and transforms into their teacher, an older man in traditional robes. Sensei Kanoi tells the ninjas that's enough for today. The ninjas vanish. Sensei tells Shane, Tori and Dustin how they disappointed him because they have shown a lack of commitment to their training. Walking on water, Sensei Kanoi uses his staff to create a giant ball of light and then disappears into the ball. The three follow him through the ball of light.
