Meg, Calvin and Charles Wallace finally land in the dark world of Camazotz. The impact of their landing creates large ripples of sand across the massive dunes. Thunder and lightning claps overhead. Something frightening enclosed in clouds comes after them and they start running. In the distance, they see a massive city-structure that becomes a large red eyeball. The clouds keep chasing them and they fall down a sand dune.
