Dana is working on her Apple Macintosh computer when Meg, Charles Wallace and Calvin walk into the house. Calvin meets Dana and they shake hands. Soon after, Meg stands nearby while Charles Wallace and Calvin play Boggle at the kitchen table. An hourglass is turned over and the letter mixup game begins. Charles Wallace is an expert. Meanwhile, Dana tries investigating the Tesseract Project, online but it's top secret and she is denied access to the website. The hourglass runs out of sand. Calvin has been writing Charles Wallace's answers in a small spiral notepad. He's amazed at Charles Wallace's talent.
