The Constable questions Julie and Jake about their dive. He doesn't believe them about the monster. The fishermen throw bombs into the water. Case returns to the bar and fights with Jake. The fishermen are catching nothing in their nets, but a see a big splash. They light a bigger bomb, which catches the monster's eye. The team looks at the videotape. The monster jumps out of the water in front of the boat.
