The Puppeteer carries a basket of cotton as Chan practices Tai Chi moves. Chan gives up and breaks a pole. The Puppeteer challenges Chan to split a ball of cotton, but he can't. The Puppeteer catches a bird in his hand and shows Chan how he keeps the bird there. Chan falls asleep and The Puppeteer splashes him with water.
