At the bar, Robert asks Zane to sing one of his songs. Zane initially refuses, but Robert begs him and Zane relents. Robert brings Zane into the theater and stops a group from singing show tunes. Zane sits on a chair and a spotlight is put on him. Zane plays a guitar and sings his song. The bandleader tells Robert that he has to pay for the speakers.
