Maddox attacks John, kicking him in the face before falling down the stairs. Maddox pushes John close to lasers, but Gomez jumps on Maddox's back. Poe watches the fight on security monitors. Karen and the women prisoners watch over the balcony above. Maddox falls off a bridge but hangs on. Poe wants John to execute Maddox, but he won't. The men are bloody faced and about to fall from a retractable bridge. A weapon blasts a hole in Maddox, killing him. All prisoners' implants are triggered, and John picks up Maddox's implant from the floor.
