Ray again tells Rottmayer that he needs a diversion to get back in "the box". Rottmayer confronts Javed in the cafeteria, starting a fight among the prisoners. Guards tase and subdue Ray, Rottmayer and Javed. They are taken to "the box" and the bright lights are turned on. Ray uses the piece of metal to heat the steel floor as Hobbes watches on a video monitor. Ray pops screws out of the floor, then knocks on it sending a signal to Rottmayer. Rottmayer yells and causes a diversion as Ray covers the camera in his cell. Ray opens the floor in his cell and climbs down. Hobbes gives instructions into a microphone.
