Donna calls Gabriel while looking at Pete in a hospital bed. She says she doesn't think Pete will make it through the night. Jess works on a fuse box and tells Gabriel that he's skeptical about Pete's story. Gabriel gets another call from Donna and puts her on speaker phone so she can talk to Jess. Donna says Pete is doing better and he talks to Gabriel. Jess says he thinks Donna and Pete are actually one person doing two voices. Jess raises more doubts about Pete's story. Jess tells Gabriel that he moved out because he was always using their relationship for material for his show. They argue and Jess leaves.
