The humans raid a pharmacy and get attacked by the group of zombies. R sees Julie and feels an instant attraction. Perry shoots R. R pulls Perry down and eats his brain, seeing into his memories: a young Perry sees fireworks, gets beat up by a bully and rides his bike. Teenage Perry makes out with Julie; she tells him she loves him, he loves her in return. R savors Perry's memories.
