At the Launch Center, the Russian operative flies plot and laugh evilly. On the capsule, Mission Control tells the astronauts about the flies. The flies wake up as the capsule's rockets boost, and they get launched across the capsule. Scooter ends up on an astronaut's head, and he tries to swat him away. Armstrong tells Mission Control that the engine isn't responding, and they tell him to trace the short. The flies enter a control panel and fly through wiring to find the loose wire. They use an olive to protect themselves from the heat and work together to plug the wire back in. Scooter takes a bite of the olive.
