The gang and their Digimon continue to introduce themselves when suddenly Mimi is heard screaming out for help. They all rush to find Mimi in the middle of the jungle running away form the big red Beetle monster. Tai immediately tells the group to run in the opposite direction but they end up running into a high cliff. Cornered by the beetle monster the baby Digimon decide it is time to fight back. The Digimon Digivolve for the first time into miniature monsters with big firepower. The Digimon use fireballs, electric shocks, and poison ivy whips to strike the red beetle. Their fighting techniques seem to be working but out of nowhere the beetle splits the cliff in half making the Digimon and kids fall hundreds of feet deep into the jungle.
