In the woods, Arachnitor scares a deer and roars. On a ship, Master Xandred drinks his medicine and says he won't feel better until the Earth is flooded. Octoroo tells Xandred that Arachnitor is still alive. This angers Xandred, and he flashes back to his banishment of Arachnitor, dragging him into a tree with a tentacle. Octoroo reminds Xandred that Arachnitor got stronger, and Xandred agrees that he could speed the flooding of the Earth.
