Inside the cave, the hooded figure reveals herself as the sorceress Udonna, and tells the five friends about evil being released with the earthquake. Udonna reveals the book of the Unknown, which talks about the five friends becoming the power rangers. Udonna gives the power rangers magic wands. Claire, the sorceress in training, introduces herself and tries to cast a spell, but ends up turning herself into a sheep.
