Sitting in front of the wall writing, Sophie watches a woman remove all the letters and place them in a basket. She follows, and arrives at a small shop, where a table full of Italian women open and read the letters. Sophie meets the women and learn that they work responding to all the love letters; they are "Juliet's secretaries."
