The cabbie points a gun at Alex, he won't move unless Alex pays upfront. Alex hands over his 'antique' watch as payment. The taxi take off, but then the cabbie kicks Alex out when he realizes there are bonejackers after them. Alex goes to Julie's address, but the couple who lives there says Julie sold the place years ago. They call Alex a freejack and make him leave.
