Tom wakes up late the next morning, Connie's brought him groceries. Tom calls Judge Murdoch and learns that the judge, upon hearing Angela's story, has sent her out of state for her protection. He's getting a lawyer in involved; judge Murdoch will have more info for Tom on Friday. Tom's ecstatic. He goes to the courthouse and tries to talk Jean, Judge Murdoch's secretary into telling him when Angela is. She refuses, bur drops the tidbit that Judge Murdoch is having lunch with the judge that presided over the Daniels case on Thursday.
