Jeff gets Joe back on the phone and tells him to put the little boy he's holding hostage on the phone. After some shouting, he agrees. Jeff tells Sean to run to his bed room. Then Joe hits Sean and hangs up. Jeff runs towards the building in slow-motion screaming. Joe throws the phone out the window. Jeff shouts at him to come out and pray with him, but then a series of gunshots emerge from the house: everyone inside is dead. Jeff runs through the house and collapses, crying, blood on his hands.
