Louie puts a mouse trap through the dog door to catch the rat that bit him; Ping barks through the megaphone and startles Louie, causing him to catch his hand in the trap. Lucretia is worried, but Drac convinces her to stay with him. Ping knocks Stu out with a bowling ball. Louie tries to slap Stu back into wakefulness. The burglars decide to try the front door. Lucretia goes to check on Haley and assumes the noises she heard were coming from the TV. Ping lays a tripwire for the burglars and tries to alert Haley, but she can't hear because of her headphones. Ping bites Louie's fingers and he lets go of the windowsill he's trying to climb through. Louie and Stu chase Ping and fall over the tripwire.
