Ricky draws Marina as she sleeps. He makes her breakfast and brings it to her. Marina is trying untie herself, she has to go to the bathroom. Ricky watches Marina use the toilet. She tells Ricky that she'll never love him, doesn't want him, etc. Ricky goes back in the bedroom and cries. Subdued, Ricky tells Marina that he's going out for supplies and says he has to tie her up. He wants her to think about what she said to him and how hurtful it was while he's gone. As soon as Ricky leaves the room, Marina struggles against her bonds.
