Yadwiga answers a knock on the door and freaks out, she thinks Tamara is a ghost. Yadwiga apologizes, she had no idea Tamara was alive, she wants Tamara to move in, Yadwiga will be their servant again. Tamara declines, Herman is saying that they can all be friends when there's a knock at the door. Mrs. Schreier pops by with the wealthy Mr. Pesheles, she wanted him to meet Herman. Herman awkwardly introduces them to Tamara, claiming that Tamara is a friend visiting from Europe.Herman gets a call, it's Rabbi Lembeck, he wants to drop by and have Herman do some last minute edits on the book he wrote. Herman reluctantly gives Rabbi Lembeck Masha's address. Herman manages to get rid of Mr. Pesheles, but not before Mr. Pesheles learns that Tatamra's last name is also Broder. Herman claims they are cousins.
