Yadwiga talks to some women about her relationship; the other women think something's up. Yadwiga and Herman go to a Yom Kippur religious service. Afterwards Yadwiga wants to go to a Seder service, she's already bought the tickets, but Herman refuses. They argue and Herman slaps Yadwiga when she accuses him of having a mistress. Yadwiga is devastated. Herman tells her to go to the Seder and pray for him. Herman thinks, looks at pictures once she leaves.
