Nottingham shows Marion the letter than was suppose to go to the king. Nottingham tells Marion that he'll spare the lives of some of the captured villages as a wedding gift. When Marion refuses, Nottingham shows her Robin's medallion, claiming that he's dead. Realizing that she has no choice but to marry Nottingham, Marion runs off crying.
