The Wards live at Mid Valley Children's home. The Lachmans meet with Cliff Haber, they are thinking about adopting a kid. Molly bursts in, Kyle found a frog and is going to operate. Cliff stops him, Kyle causes an accident. Cliff takes the Wards siblings to task, they need to behave if they're going to be adopted. Cliff discovers that Molly has found a dog. Cliff is invited to Florida for Thanksgiving, but there's no one to watch the kids. It's suggested to Cliff that he get his father to watch the kids.
