Charlotte tells Mitchel she wants to go to a restaurant with him but that would end up in the paper, especially because he's an ex-con. She tells him she's in love with him. Paparazzi take his picture and he knocks them out. Mitchel meets Gant in a restaurant. Gant tells him that if he tries to have a relationship with Charlotte, he'll pin the murder of the black kid on him. He says he has to be a gangster and Mitchel says if he was a gangster, he'd kill Gant first and wouldn't be able to stop killing.
