At a bar with Sala and Moberg, Kemp writes a horoscope for the paper. Back at the office, Lotterman yells at everyone. Kemp tells Sala he wants to bring him along as he goes to the island with Sanderson's associates. They land in a plane on the beach where they see the blueprints for the hotels. Then they head over to St. Thomas for Carnivale. Kemp and Sala drink rum on the street, in crowded bars. They spot Chenault dancing and she takes Kemp to a boat where Sanderson cusses him out for taking Sala to their island and showing him the blueprints. Kemp and Chenault talk briefly, alone. At dinner, Chenault says she wants to go dancing.
