Jerry drives through a tunnel, smoking. Then he arrives at the police station. He takes the freight elevator up to his office, carrying the fish he caught -- it is now revealed he was the one fishing. After talking with his secretary, he looks out the window to see an elderly person using a walker. Then he looks at a picture of himself as a young man in the military. Then himself as a young cop.
