Frank hides the fact that he's still alive. Roy gets rid of Frank's car. Marguerite shows up to move in and Roy tells her Frank left the night before. Wanda drinks at Frank's grave, despondent and full of guilt. She still plans to proceed with the performance that night. Marguerite drives away to look for Frank, but he is hiding in the backseat of her car. She gets spooked and sprays him with mace when he pops up. Frank tells her that Helen, Julie and the hitchhiker are dead and everything that happened. Marguerite thinks they should make a run for it. Unfortunately, all of Frank's songs are back at the motel; he convinces Marguerite that they need to go back there to get them.
