Gwendolen and Cecily forgive Jack and Algy once they realize that both men are getting christened on their behalf, Augusta arrives at the country house and tells Jack he's still not allowed to marry Gwendolen, Algy tells Augusta that he's engaged to Cecily, Augusta endorses Algy's engagement but Jack reminds everyone that since he is Cecily's guardian he has to give his permission and he won't do so unless Augusta allows him to marry Gwendolen, Dr. Chasuble tells Jack and Algy he's ready for their christenings then gets word that Miss Prism is waiting for him.
