Max, Sharkboy and Lavagirl make it to the dream layer just in time but the crystal heart doesn't work, Mr. Electric attakcs Sharkboy with electric eels and tries to drown him, Lavagirl jumps into the water and pulls Sharkboy out, Sharkboy and Lavagirl both pass out, Max doesn't know what to do, Tobor appears and asks Max what he thinks he should do and Max says he needs to dream a better dream, Tobor tells him he must dream an unselfish dream, Sharkboy wakes up and sees Lavagirl is unconcious, Max says if Sharkboy can get her to the volcano she'll survive, Sharkboy takes Lavagirl to the volcano and Lavagirl is revived, Max tells Lavagirl she is the light, Max remembers his powers, Max tells Sharkboy to deal with Mr. Electric and he'll handle Minus.
