Mike arrives back to his stark apartment and checks his answering machine. Four messages from friends and family, none from his ex. In a stuffy electronic voice Mike's answering machine begins to lecture him about how he should get over his ex. Mike calls Trent who urges Mike to come out for a night on the town. Mike's not interested, he has a callback the next afternoon, but Trent insists and ups the ante by declaring that they're going to Vegas. Mike says no way.
