Actors audition for Will and Philip, but none are any good. Viola, dressed as man, calling herself 'Thomas Kent' shows up to audition after Philip leaves. Will, who's sitting in the balcony, loves her audition and makes for the stage, telling Thomas to take off his hat. Thomas gets scared and runs away. Will gives chase through the streets of London and hires a rowboat to follow Thomas' boat across the river. Thomas runs onto a huge estate, Will follows.
