Amsterdam and Jenny make out on the docks. Amsterdam takes off Jenny's corset, then looks at a scar on her stomach. Amsterdam unbuttons his shirt and shows Jenny the scars on his chest, which she touches and kisses. Amsterdam notices the locket that Jenny is wearing, the same one the hanged man sold to Bill, which Jenny says was a gift from him. When Amsterdam realizes why Bill gave her the gift, he says he's through with Jenny and she leaves.
