Dawn. Emergency vehicles wait outside the burning, smoking White House. Mike and the President hobble through the destroyed lobby and out the front door. The military approaches them outside on the stairs. Members of the Pentagon stand to their feet, and clap. Soldiers escort the President to Connor who waits in an ambulance. Soldier escorts Mike to Leah. She comforts him and pulls him close for a kiss. The President makes a speech from the Press Briefing Room. Soldiers hoist a new US flag and salute it. After the speech, the press and lawmaker applaud. The President shakes Mike's hand. The scene fades into a waving American Flag.
