Bonzo and his friends confront Ender in the shower room. Ender makes the water hotter, as Bonzo puts his fists up and challenges Ender. Ender sprays the hot water in Bonzo's face, and they grapple. Ender kicks Bonzo away and he hits his head, knocking him out. Ender calls for help. Later, Ender and Petra watch Bonzo undergoing surgery. Gwen starts to apologize to Ender, but Graff sends her and Petra away. Ender asks Graff to be sent home, threatening to resign. Graff tells Ender not to threaten him, saying he's not the enemy. Ender defiantly quits.
