Dap wakes the kids and tells them to get dressed. The kids, in their uniforms and helmets, march in front of Graff, who introduces them to the Battle Room. Graff takes a band out of a panel in the wall and puts it around his hand, then calls Ender up and sends him into the large, spherical room. Ender hangs onto handles on the wall as he floats, then pushes off, spinning around and hitting floating blocks. Ender lands on one of the blocks, and the other kids enter the room. Ender and Bean talk, then look at and fire their guns. They shoot each other with their guns and freeze their legs. Bean shoots Ender again, freezing him completely as he floats away. Graff calls the kids over to him and they all float back. Graff says they have a lot to learn. Dap explains the training game they will play. gravity, helmet, zero g, stunt gun
