The spaceship docks with a large space station. Graff and Gwen watch the kids enter the station. Ender says they made the other kids hate him, and they tell him that they need a leader, comparing him to Caesar and Napoleon. Graff and Gwen discuss Ender. Graff says Ender can never believe anyone will help him. Bernard calls Ender a "smartass". Ender finds his bunkbed, then identifies himself to a computer panel, which rotates, revealing his uniform. Sergeant Dap calls the kids to attention and gives them instructions.
