Inside the confession booth, Bill slides the door back and forth. Sergeant Atkins explains how the kid died. Bill visits Father Dyer in the hospital, bringing him a stuffed toy penguin. Bill and Father Dyer argue about the Father' health, Bill yells at a nurse who tries to intervene. Dyer lights up a cigarette and tells Bill he needs more magazines. Bill catches the elevator not noticing that a religious statue is decapitated in the hallway.
