Bill prepares Bunny for his performance and they hug. Bunny performs and sings, as Wayne and Kilgore enter the lounge. Two women excitedly introduce themselves to Kilgore. Wayne gives a modified business card to a man at the bar. Bunny sings a song about Kilgore and a spotlight shines on him. Dwayne sees him and races over to him, knocking over a table. Dwayne accosts Kilgore, asking him for his "message". Dwayne grabs Kilgore's novel and reads from it, reading a passage about being the only person with free will and everyone else being machines. Bunny sings "Stranger in Paradise". Kilgore rants to Dwayne about people being robots as colored lights flash on their faces. Dwayne thanks Kilgore.
