In a motel room filled with flowers, Maria tries to seduce Kilgore and gives him a key card. Dwayne peeks out from under the covers and sees a vision of Celia. Kilgore gets a phone call and answers the phone by shouting his name. His name, appearing as text, travels through an air duct into Dwayne's ear. Kilgore yells into the phone, saying he will be in the cocktail lounge that night.
