Kilgore walks along a snowy road, talking to himself. Fred and Howell meet with Eliot, and Fred tells him that Kilgore is coming to the festival. Fred also tells him that Kilgore's stories only appear in adult magazines. Eliot knows and says Kilgore should win the Nobel Prize. Dwayne has a hallucinatory episode. In bed, Dwayne hides his gun under the pillow while Celia changes channels with a remote control. Celia says she's unhappy as they watch a commercial on TV with a happy family. Dwayne says that the family isn't real. Celia takes pills as they talk about their relationship.
