The next morning, Nat again sneaks out to the junkyard. Nat, I.Q. and Scooter gather their spacesuits and fly to a nearby house. In the house, the flies plan to sneak into a lunch pail. The human occupant of the house reads a newspaper about the moon launch, then swats I.Q. off of his shoulder. Nat rescues him from the floor, narrowly escaping the man's foot. The flies fly into the lunchbox together just before the lid shuts. The flies peer out of the lunchbox as the man carries it outside. A dog barks and snarls at the lunchbox. The man drives off in his pick-up truck.
