Walking around the corner of the house, Tom sees Angela, who's staying in the guest house; she beckons him in. She's happy that Felix is getting another chance. Tom accuses Angela of arranging matters to suit herself, saying that they could have exposed all the corruption in the city. Tom wants to know who Angela is going to shack up with next. Angry, Angela slaps Tom and he nearly chokes her. Angela thinks how things went is for the best, they saved Felix which is the important part.
